VI. MEETINGS/WORKSHOPS/SEMINARS
— Kick-Off Meeting, June 2010
The project’s kick-off meeting took place in Berlin between June 30 and July 2, 2010. 34 participants from Austria, Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic and the Netherlands attended the meeting. 11 associated partners and the main partner SPI were represented.
Ms Ines Perea from the German Health Ministry, co-funder and collaborating partner of the project made a welcoming address. 3 further project collaborating partners took also part in the meeting: Deutsche AIDS Hilfe, Tannenhof Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. and AIDS Action Europe (AAE). The communication coordinator of AAE, Ms Martine van der Meulen made a guest presentation of the New Design of the Clearing House of AIDS Action Europe.
In plenary and in 4 working groups the participants discussed in detail the objectives and activity plans of all areas of cooperation, the so-called work packages. Additionally first regional meetings of the teams in each of the 5 cross-border model regions took place and actions till the end of 2010 concertedly planned.
